How to shut down Azure tenant?

We have followed all steps to shut down our portal, all subscriptions have been paid and canceled, and waiting over 72 hours, but it still shows that there are active subscriptions that need to be cleared before shutting down the tenant.
When I check on License Subscriptions nothing is listed, and everything has fallen off, but the delete tenant screen still shows that there are applications that need to be cleared. Not sure what needs to be done to fix this, and it has been 4 days, so I am well out of the 72 hour fall-off period.

When I check on Azure Subscriptions it still lists something, but the page errors out when I try to interact with it. I think it is stuck in a partially removed state.

Is there any kind of contact to reach out to in order to get this fixed without paying them for support to fix their own back-end issues?

Hello @CaedenV2 Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to assist!

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are looking to shutdown your Azure tenant and while doing so, being blocked with an issue.

It seems like there might be some residual resources or subscriptions that are still associated with your Azure AD tenant.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Go to the Azure portal and navigate to the "Subscriptions" page.

Check if there are any subscriptions listed there that are associated with your Azure AD tenant. If there are, try to delete them again.

    1. After you have deleted all the subscriptions, wait for some time to ensure that all the resources associated with the subscriptions are deleted as well.
    2. Once you are sure that all the resources have been deleted, try to delete the Azure AD tenant again.

If you are still unable to delete the Azure AD tenant after following these steps, you can contact Azure support for further assistance. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.
