I have approved the update to a test group in WSUS but the client is not showing the update. I have tried to install the update manually but it fails as well. The client has all the recent cumulative updates. Any ideas on what could cause this?

    Hello,

If we install the update manually but failed, I consider this issue could be related to client not WSUS.

Check the update history to find the OS version build, if the latest security update has been installed.

Also you could try to reset the Windows Update Components manually to check.

If the issue still insists, I suggest that you could check system event log message and CBS.log.

    Best Regards,
