Use of visual studio community edition for testing VSTO projects?

I am more familiar with Visual studio over VS code and I was wondering with my work PC if I could test some VSTO projects as to see if worth migrating our VBA projects to something modern. I was thinking for the testing to use the community edition. Would that be allowed?

    Hi @Jonathan Brotto

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

From looking at the Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 Licensing:

If you are an individual developer, you can use the Community edition to develop and test your own applications.

If you are in an organization, there are some limitations to using VS Community edition. You can check out the document above for more details.

You can view the document to learn more about Office development in Visual Studio.

    Sincerely,

    Anna
