Monitor employee file related actions

Hi

What means do I have in M365, with M365 Business Premium licenses, to monitor file related actions employees do?

Especially I would like to monitor copy of large amount of files from file libraries.

Hi @IMK ,

You can use the audit log reports provided with SharePoint to view the data in the audit logs for a site collection. You can sort, filter, and analyze this data to determine who has done what with sites, lists, libraries, content types, list items, and library files in the site collection.

For example, you can determine who copied files.

Here are steps:

1.Use the Audit search tool in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal(https://compliance.microsoft.com/)

2.You can search for specific activities in Audit, for activities performed by specific users, and activities that occurred within a date range..
