New Teams chats disappeared

I have noticed the current version of teams, will be unsupported from 1st July 2024. However, when I try the new version, all my chats since December 2023 have disappeared.

Ho can I ensure my chat are saved, so when I change over, they are not all lost?

According to our test, chat history will not be lost when switching between classic Teams and new Teams.

If you do encounter chat records disappearing, please try clearing the new Teams cache and then check again to see if your records exist.

When your chat history is lost, you can use PowerShell to search for local user Teams chat data and export it, refer to this reference.
