is it legal if i use windows 7 key to replace pirated windows 10

Hi I want to ask, I just bought a Windows 7 key to replace my illegal key that I accidentally bought to activate Windows 10, and I want to replace a previously pirated product and I replace it using a Windows 7 key, is this legal if I use windows 7 key to replace pirated windows 10, sorry for my bad english, thanks:)

Technically speaking it should work assuming the editions are correct. Legal licensing questions should be directed to a trained microsoft licensing specialist or ask microsoft directly.

Which kind of licenses you have? "Home", "Pro", ....?

To be safe the best option might be to buy a valid Windows 10 license.
