Hello,
How can a standard user update Visual Studio without Windows 10 prompting for an administrator username/password?
In my company, laptops are provided with only standard user access. Currently, when auto-update on closure is enabled, closing Visual Studio prompts for an administrator username/password. If this prompt is cancelled, the updates cannot proceed.
Is there a way to configure Visual Studio or Windows 10 directly, using administrator username/password, and make the system to allow Visual Studio specifically to update itself without requiring administrative credentials in the future? Any guidance or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

However, in our case, we're not dealing with an enterprise-wide rollout. We're specifically looking for a solution for individual installations of Visual Studio Professional 2022. Ideally, we'd like to find a way to provide the ability on these workstations to update these installations without requiring administrator credentials each time.
