Hello,
Here are some solutions that have worked for others:
- Ensure that your printer drivers and software are up to date. Many users have found that updating or reinstalling the printer driver from the official Canon website resolves the issue. This involves removing the existing driver and installing the latest version compatible with Windows 10.
- Ensure that both the black and color cartridges are sufficiently filled or replaced.
- Try changing the paper type to "Glossy Paper" or "Photo Paper" in the print settings.
- As a workaround, you can disable the ink level detection. On some Canon models, holding the "Stop/Reset" button for about 5 seconds can disable the ink level detection, allowing you to print using the remaining black ink.
