Hi,

On Windows Update, I have error 0x80070643 on KB5034441 update. I read that the Recovery Partition size may be the problem. I do not think it is my case. My OS disk partitions are :

499 Mb Healthy ( Recovery Partition )

99 Mb Healthy ( EFI System Partition)

C: 893 Gb Healthy ( Boot, ... )

593 Mb Healthy ( Recovery Partition )

Is it OK ?

Thanks

Richard

    Hi, @Studio Ryde

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

We can see you have two Recovery Partitions. This happens when you perform Windows Upgrade or an In-place Upgrade. If the Recovery Partition that currently exists on your hard drive does not have sufficient space for the upgrade, Windows will create an extra Recovery Partition.

If a new recovery Partition is created after an upgrade. It means that the previous Recovery Partition did not have enough space for the upgrade. In this case, the previous Recovery Partition becomes useless. So, you now have a recovery partition with 593 Mb.

As mentioned in below article, resizing the Recovery partition to 750 MB or more will fix the issue. The error occurs due to a lack of free disk space in the Recovery partition.
