Need to Monitor Pure Storage in SCOM

Question

HI All,

I need to monitor Pure Storage in SCOM. So i created a run as a account with credentials of flash array purity account(which have all administrative privileges in pure storage) and also i accociated that run as account with respective run as a profile . And via authoring section, i added one Pure storage CI.

After doing all this, i am still unable to monitor. It showing error as "unable to connect to flash array" and also "awaiting discovery".

Please suggest if other things needs to be done to make it monitoring

Yes i went though this guide, and follow same steps whatever is mentioned here, but still getting errors

Hi @Arpita Dhawan ,

please ensure you check the Operations Manager Event Log on all your management servers and filter for Warnings and Errors. If you find any events, which are related to failing discovery, please post them here, so we can help.
Some other nodes:

• If you have SCOM 2019 ensure you enter the credentials with the Domain NetBIOS name
• Please make sure you have added the accoutn to the respective profiles
• Please make sure you have verified your SCOM Run As Credentials using the Verify Endpoints link (Task)

HI @SChalakov ,

1. We are using SCOM 2016
2. Yes i have associate run as a account to Run as a profile
3. I have verified end points - It showing status as "completed with info and no output is available. below are the screenshot

5. Below errors i am getting in event views

"PureVolumeDiscovery.ps1 [1.1.99.0] : Connection to array failed on these credentials. singhjay.1. Check that the PurePowershell cmdlet is installed, and your credentials are correct. Error: Unable to connect to the remote server
Inner Exception='A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 10.182.110.246:443'"

event id - 2001

AlertsRuleMonitor.ps1 [1.1.99.0] : Connection to array failed on these credentials. singhjay.1. Check that the PurePowershell cmdlet is installed, your credentials are correct and that you have access to the Pure Arrays listed in your credentials file. Error: Unable to connect to the remote server
