Hello There,

I am reaching out regarding the information provided on the Microsoft Learn website, which states that I can access a free subscription/sandbox for Azure Open AI to practice for my upcoming certification. The specific page can be found here.

However, after creating my account with my personal ID, I have not been able to access any Azure Open AI models.

At my company (Wolters Kluwer), we utilize Azure Cloud, but none of us have yet explored Open AI services. Would it be possible to grant us a temporary subscription for a few days so that we can test and familiarize ourselves with your models?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

Rithika Gupta

    Hi there Gupta, Rithika

Thanks for posting on QandA platrform

I guess right now the openai access is being given on limited numbers and going forward we can expect more access, and also the openai access can only be raised through the company,

kindly do fill out this form and access the openai and you will be able to get the access once it is approved.

    https://customervoice.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR7en2Ais5pxKtso_Pz4b1_xUNTZBNzRKNlVQSFhZMU9aV09EVzYxWFdORCQlQCN0PWcu

please note that the access is limited. raise the req and hopefully you will get the access.

reg the temporary solution I don't think there is an option, but lemme check and get back to you on this.

Have a look at this doc for detailed info on the limited access and more.

    Hi Gupta, Rithika,

Thank you for reaching out regarding access to Azure OpenAI for your certification practice. Special thanks to Azar for his valuable insights on this matter.

Azure OpenAI service is currently provided on a limited basis, and access is granted based on specific criteria. To request access, you need to fill out and submit the Azure OpenAI access request form. The details you provide will be reviewed, and if your request meets the criteria, access will be granted.

For more detailed information on the limited access policy, please refer to this documentation.

It's important to note that Azure for Students and free trial subscriptions no longer support Azure OpenAI services. Therefore, your subscription should be a pay-as-you-go account to ensure successful deployment once access is approved. Additional details can be found here and here.

If your access request does not meet the necessary criteria, an alternative would be to use the OpenAI public API, which provides similar functionality and can be a valuable resource for your preparation.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.
