I had the same issue and happened to just find a fix that worked for me and these are the steps that I took:
- Press the Windows key and type "Bluetooth and other devices settings" where it should take you to the system settings.
- Under the "input" category, you'll see the PXN V-10 wheel listed. For me, it said "Driver error" under the name of the wheel. Click the three dots on the right and remove the device.
- Re-plug the USB into your PC and it should work in D-input mode.
