Is SytemMessage not working still in 1.0.0-beta16 version

I am trying to use systemMessage in my sdk 1.0.0-beta16 version with model gpt 3.5 turbo , can somebody please let me know if it is still not working with beta16 or 17 version, or is there any other way to do it? using ChatCompletionOptions.
Any help would be highly appreciated, Thanks !!
