Is there a Microsoft approval required for my small business to manage and support other small business Azure tenet? i.e. my company wants to setup and manage Azure tenet for other small businesses (small businesses who are not tech savvy and who don't have on-prem infrastructure). Essentially, I would setup their Azure tenet under their company's name and my company would be contracted to provide IT services and support for their tenet.

    Hi @Tyro Beatty

    Thank you for your post!

To manage and support Azure tenants for other small businesses, you do not typically need special approval from Microsoft.
To become a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), you need to apply to the CSP program and meet certain requirements.

To answer your question The MSP (Managed Service Provider) designation is not a prerequisite for marketing or providing IT services. It is a program that provides additional benefits and resources to IT service providers who specialize in managing and supporting Microsoft technologies, it is designed to help IT service providers build and grow their businesses by providing access to training, support, and resources from Microsoft.
As an IT service provider, you can support to your customers without being part of the MSP program.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks,

    Akhilesh.

    Hello Tyro Beatty,

    Thanks for your question.

    No, there is none required.

However, if you want to be a CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) or MSP (Managed Service Provider) or manage tenants, Please take a look at our documentation here.
