Root is missing error, while making frontend using window form application in VS 2022 using C#. How to troubleshoot this issue.

Does error message mention any detailed file?

If so, have you tried to open that file and check the root element in that file? Does the root element exist?

Sometimes, this issue appears on an XML format file. If the root element does not exist, try to add it and it should work.

If the XML file is easily generated, regenerate a new one, replace the old one and rebuild your project should also work. I also suggest you try to clean your project cache(remove .vs, bin and obj folders) and rebuild your project.

Have you tried to create a new file and replace the file which shows this error?

Does this issue appear on a newly created project? If so, could you share us the detailed steps to reproduce this issue?
