Created a dataset for Azure SQL and it works fine in any pipelines of Azure Data Factory. However, it gives me the connection error from Data Flows - refer to the below.
The Azure SQL is configured to be accessible from any Azure services.

The scenario here is storage to azure sql database using a dataflow activity.
I get the below error if i run the dataflow activity ( with directly or through pipeline)

The linked service and dataset ' Test connection' operation works when done individually . But not when it gets used in dataflow. Here are some screenshots of my configuration

Hi @ShaikMaheer-MSFT ,any update on this? Possibly , you can try to reproduce this scenario and try ? Basically, when Azure SQL is being used as sink in DataFlow activity, we get the above error.
The connection works fine if used in Copy activity with azure sql db as sink.
Changing the version from recommended to legacy in the linked service resolved this.

@Jerry Lee @Mahesh chandak I am also facing the same issue. I guess this is bug. You can edit the linked service and change the version from recommended to legacy. This works for me.
thanks Aswin. Yes seems like it is a bug as you mentioned. Switching to Legacy worked for me as well.

From error message, it seems server name might be not given. Could you please check you linked service and datasets to see is server name property gave correctly?
If you are using parameters for server name, then make sure you pass value for that parameter.
