Hi there JulieMardersdw214

Thans for posting on QandA platform,

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the chat thread between you and your coworker.
  2. Click on the Chat to open the conversation.
  3. Click on the "Add people" icon at the top right corner of the chat window. It looks like a person with a plus sign or you might see an ellipsis (...) next to the chat header.
  4. Select "Add people" from the dropdown menu that appears.
  5. Search for the third coworker’s name in the search bar that appears. Once you find their name, select it.
  6. Choose the option to include chat history: When adding the new person, Teams will prompt you with options on how much chat history to include. You can choose to include:
    • All chat history
    • The last number of days of chat history
    • No chat history
Select the appropriate option to ensure the third coworker has the necessary context.
  7. Click "Add" to complete the process.

Guess this helps,

Kindly accept the answer if it helps thanks much.
