Cross Tenant Synchronization -User Mappings

Is it possible in "cross functional tenant sync" to map source user to target tenant for trust, if so how to map the users in source tenant to target tenant by user id or UPN.

******@domain.onmicrosoft.com in source tenant used for Azure AD joined devices logins where as same ******@caduc.com is in target tenant for office365,is it possible the establish the trust between same users in different tenant using cross functional tenant synchronization.

Hi,

No, it is not possible, you can make the tenant's user synchronize with another tenant and the user can use the credentials of the source tenant in the destination tenant.

However, it is not possible to make a synchronization between users of different tenants.

So solution for this scenario would be Entra AD connect to synchronize users to two different tenants from local domain ?

If you want to synchronize your local user in two tenants, I suggest this architecture with Entra ID connect:

With this architecture, you don't need Cross Tenant Synchronization.
