Maximum number of participants - TEAMS video meeting

Hi,

I have a video meeting scheduled soon. There will be approx 52 participants. Different participants need to be able to share their screen or a document (a presentation), in turns. Participants will be presenting in groups of 4-5, one group after the other, between 10am and 14.00pm.

I usually invite participants (usually only 25 participants) - Microsoft calendar invite - and they usually are able to share their screen (with some exceptions though). However, I'd like to know whether...

  • TEAM video meeting works for 52 participants (only 4-5 to have their video ON at the same time. But everyone needs to be able to hear the speakers and see the presentations,
  • Everyone needs to be able to share their presentation at some point,
  • Should Participants download the TEAMS app?
  • Some participants will be on Mac, others on Windows. Some might be on mobile (although most of them will be on a laptop).

Many thanks
S.

It’s up to your requirements. Organizer can determine who can present by this link.

Question 3. Should Participants download the TEAMS app?

No. The web client (https://teams.microsoft.com)is a full, functional client that can be used from a variety of browsers. For more information, please refer to this article.

Question 4. Some participants will be on Mac, others on Windows. Some might be on mobile (although most of them will be on a laptop).
