Azure App Service plan shows SPIKEs in CPU and Memory usage

Hello There!

we have a Azure App service plan that has about a total of 8 Apps included (web services/ web Applications)

we intermittently see this behavior on the App Service plan Monitoring dashboard. we know there are possibilities of high spikes in the memory/ CPU usage and we are investigating the same. but meanwhile wanted to check if this requires a scale up/ upgrade of the App Service plan for timebeing?

Note: that currently we are suspecting that the spikes are causing response issues to customers accessing the web application / service.

Sure, Scale up should help but this need further drilling down-

High CPU usage is a common performance issue that can impact the responsiveness of a site in Azure App Service. To address high CPU issues in Azure App Service suggest you to refer this detailed blog Azure App Service Limit (4) - CPU (Windows)
