Hi Microsoft Team,

I deleted a Team permanently by deleting the group from the recycle bin which automatically deleted the SharePoint site as well. The deleted SharePoint site was in recycle bin and i manually restored it. After restoring all the files were visible for General channel but for private and shared channels the folder was empty. Can you please with the cause for this issue provide some solution to retrieve the files for private and share channels site in SharePoint. FYI, I logged in as a owner of the site and Team to restore. User's image

    Hi @DeveloperTeams ,

When you delete a Team in Microsoft Teams, the associated SharePoint site is also deleted. If you restore the SharePoint site from the recycle bin, the files in the General channel are restored, but the files in private and shared channels are not restored. This is because private and shared channels have a different architecture that consists of a separate site with different permissions from the Team. To restore the files in private and shared channels, you need to restore the corresponding Teams channel first. Once the channel is restored, the files will be available in the associated SharePoint site.
