Hello, I would like to ask, if someone find a solution for this problem, which is described here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/e2d1526f-d211-48bc-92b0-11d83aaead34/microsoft-edge-browser-profilequot-module-of-sccm?forum=ConfigMgrCBGeneral . I have the same problem with module in MECM Microsoft Edge Browser Profile. I made the profile and deployed it to organization. But after upgrade to Edge Chromium, i would like to shut it down, because Edge behaves much differently and some web pages inside organization dont work properly. So i removed deployment of Edge profile. Windows 10 still enforce Legacy Edge as default browser even after restart or logout. I made machine policy retrieval, reinstalled MECM client, changed default browser and association to .pdf files. Nothing worked. In MECM client applet, at control paneIs, compliace rule about Edge dissapeared. I still cant find, what was changed in system, but it is deeply hidden. I would like to make script, which will revert changes to default browser IE with user ability to change it, but i cant find, what i will have to change in the system. We have MECM 2002 and Win 10 1909 OSes. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

Could we check if the deployment is deleted or the profile is deleted? If it is the deployment, we could view XML Definition to check what setting is modified.

    Hello Amandayou-MSFT,

Thank for Your answer. Im aware of this, but thank You. I found solution myself after many hours spend digging in registry. Its simple.
Just delete keys and values in registry:

    Delete entire key:

    reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\ApplicationDefaults" /f

    Delete values:

    reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Browser" /v "AllowAddressBarDropdown" /f
    reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Browser" /v "AllowAddressBarDropdown_ProviderSet" /f

    reg delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\current\device\Browser" /v "SyncFavoritesBetweenIEAndMicrosoftEdge_ProviderSet" /f

That works. Edge is not enforced anymore.
