Hi,@Joe Kelly. Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

1.Microsoft Point of Service is compatible with .NET8, and Microsoft Point of Service can run in .Net 4 and above environments.Reference Microsoft Point of Service for .NET v1.14 (POS for .NET) -- System Requirements.

2.You can install Microsoft Point of Service for .NET (POS for .NET) v1.14 on your device by double-clicking on the POSforDotNet-1.14.msi installer and following the installer wizard

3.POS for .NET itself does not provide any support for the Windows Runtime (WinRT) API, For more information about POS device support in WinRT, see Windows.Devices.PointOfService namespace on MSDN.
