I am trying to create separate environments for different purposes, departments, or projects in one Azure container environment using workload profiles.

For example:

  • Sales department - workload profile 1
  • Research department - workload profile 2
  • XXX project - workload profile 3

I need to manage the cost of using Azure Container Apps and charge each department or project accordingly.

I have two questions:

  1. Is it possible to separate the cost of the container application environment for each workload within the shared environment?
  2. Does it make sense to have one Azure Container Apps environment serving multiple purposes based on workloads?

I don't want to create many Azure Container Apps environment because there are limitations in the network space in my company. if there are any possible methods of ideas, I would welcome suggestions. Thank you for your time.
