I encountered this error while uploading my UWP app to the Microsoft Store. The error message reads: 'Your package Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop specifies version 14.0.33728.0, but 14.0.24217.0 is the minimum available version.'

Could someone help me with this? How can I resolve this issue? Thanks in advance!

This should be because the version of Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop in the store has not been updated. It is recommended that you use the version 14.0.29231.0 on the official website.

I've explored various settings and configurations, but unfortunately, I haven't found any option to specify the version of Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00.UWPDesktop in my UWP app.

If there's a specific method or configuration I might be overlooking, I would greatly appreciate any further guidance.

I ran into the same issue upon updating to Visual Studio Community 2022 v17.10.0 and attempting an upload. Reverting to v17.9.5 of visual studio and re-creating the app package then uploading seems to be successful in partner center.

Same issue. the last Visual Studio not working when the UWP Package is uploaded to store.
