Hi All,

I have received requests from users to sync their files and folders directly to the OneDrive app. The users want that once they log in to the On-Prem AD joined workstations, they automatically get logged in to the OneDrive Application and their files and folders start to sync.

How can I achieve this?

    1. Open the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC).
    2. Create a new GPO or edit an existing one that applies to your target users.
    3. Navigate to: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > OneDrive
    4. Enable the policy: "Silently configure OneDrive using Windows 10 or domain credentials"
    5. (Optional) Configure additional OneDrive settings under the same path, such as default folder location or file filtering.
    6. Link the GPO to the appropriate Organizational Unit (OU) containing your target users.
    7. On user workstations, enforce the GPO by running gpupdate /force in a command prompt with administrator privileges.

[You can find the administrative template files from the OneDrive Group Policy download page.]

You can do loads of stuff on OneDrive I find it useful for a number of things: 1. work.; if I'm working from home its so handy, 2. saving files; so good for this also.
