I recently paid to extend my subscription, but the status is still showing as "disabled"

How do I "enable" my subscription?

Any information will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello @Alex Bello Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to assist you!

To enable a Windows Azure MSDN subscription, which is now known as Visual Studio subscription, follow these general steps:

Access the Azure portal: Log in to the Azure portal using your Microsoft account or work or school account associated with your Visual Studio subscription.

Access your subscriptions: Once logged in, navigate to the "Subscriptions" blade in the Azure portal. You can typically find this under the "All services" menu or by searching for "Subscriptions" in the search bar.

Redeem your Visual Studio subscription benefits: If you haven't already redeemed your Visual Studio subscription benefits, you may need to do so. Look for an option to "Activate" or "Redeem" benefits associated with your Visual Studio subscription.

Select your subscription: If you have multiple subscriptions associated with your account, select the subscription you want to enable for Windows Azure MSDN (Visual Studio Premium) benefits.

Enable Azure benefits: Within the subscription settings, look for options related to Visual Studio subscriptions or Azure benefits. There should be an option to enable Azure benefits associated with your Visual Studio subscription.

Review and confirm: Review the changes you're making to your subscription, including any terms or conditions associated with enabling Visual Studio benefits for Azure. Once you're satisfied, confirm your selection.

Access Visual Studio benefits: After enabling Azure benefits for your Visual Studio subscription, you should have access to the Azure services and resources included with your subscription tier.

Please note that the exact steps may vary slightly depending on the specific Azure portal interface and any updates made to the subscription management process by Microsoft. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions about your Visual Studio subscription benefits, you can also reach out to Microsoft support for assistance.

If these steps don't help, you may try the following steps:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal using your Microsoft account associated with your MSDN subscription.
    2. In the left-hand menu, click on "Subscriptions".
    3. Locate your MSDN subscription and click on it to open the subscription details.
    4. In the subscription details page, click on "Add" to add a new user to the subscription.
    5. Enter the email address of the user you want to add to the subscription and select the role you want to assign to the user (e.g. Owner, Contributor, Reader).
    6. Click on "OK" to add the user to the subscription.
    7. The user will receive an email invitation to join the subscription. They will need to accept the invitation and sign in to the Azure portal using their Microsoft account to access the subscription.

Once the user has been added to the subscription, they will be able to access the benefits of the Windows Azure MSDN - Visual Studio Premium subscription, including Azure credits, Visual Studio Team Services, and other Azure services.

Note that the specific benefits and usage limits of the subscription may vary depending on your MSDN subscription level and the terms of your agreement with Microsoft. You should review the terms and conditions of your MSDN subscription to understand the specific benefits and usage limits that apply to your subscription.
