Subject: Request for Assistance with Unintended Charges

I hope this message finds you well. I am a student currently using Azure for educational purposes. Recently, I encountered an issue where I was unintentionally charged $291.00 for services I used while learning about the platform.

Due to my current financial constraints as a student, I am unable to pay this amount. This usage was a mistake, as I had intended to cancel the services but forgot to do so.

I am requesting your assistance in resolving this matter. Specifically, I am hoping you can help me reverse or waive these charges. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Sincerely,

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you are using Azure for educational purposes and being charged $291.00 for services used while learning about the platform.

If you are a student or running an educational institution (Non-Profit Org), then you can file a support request for refund.

Please create a New Support Request in the portal and choose Issue type: Billing Problem type: Refund request, then click Next. Once it shows suggested solutions, DO NOT CLICK the Request a refund button, click Return to support request in upper left corner as shown below:

Click Next, continue filling out information, make sure your email/phone are correct, and finish creating the case. A support professional will assist you with your refund request.
