When I create a Team with channels in one request then when a channel have the isFavoriteByDefault property set to true then it only shows the channel by default for existing owners and members of the teams but not for new members.

Is this normal behavior or is there a work around to auto pin/show important channels for existing and new members?

    Hello @Daniël Pastoor,

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft!

I have created a team's channel with isFavoriteByDefault property set to true, which can only be set programmatically while creating teams using the below link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/team-post?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http#example-3-create-a-team-with-multiple-channels-installed-apps-and-pinned-tabs-using-delegated-permissions

I have added new members to the team, and the channels are functioning correctly. The channel with 'isFavoriteByDefault' set to true is displayed as expected to the new members. I recommend creating the team channel with this property, following the example given in the document above.

    Hope this helps.
