All of my application insights instances suddenly stopped collecting data and haven't resumed since

At the end of 21st May 2024 all of our application insights instances stopped collecting data. We regularly hit the daily limit but in this case none of them started recording again the next day. They have all been migrated from classic to log analytics.

LA workspace >> Usage & Estimated Cost >> Daily Capping

2024-05-28T15:58:35.71+00:00 The daily cap is currently set to 0.05GB/day although there are no transactions at all showing since 21st May 2024.

- Either we have more data flowing in LA and daily cap is very less because of which you might be facing issue. You can use the query to see what all resources are sending the data
union * | distinct _ResourceId
You can also set the time in below query and verify how much data is getting ingested daily
let startTime = datetime("2023-10-08T00:00:00Z");
let endTime = datetime("2023-10-09T23:59:59Z");
Usage
| where TimeGenerated between(startTime..endTime)
| where IsBillable == true
| summarize BillableDataGB = sum(Quantity) / 1000 by Solution, DataType
| summarize FinalVolume = sum(BillableDataGB)
OR
- You Might have private link scope attached to AI and the same might not be configure in LA provided if you have Private link.
Can you verify the above and let me know

2024-05-30T14:23:10.6366667+00:00 The figure for yesterday is 0.04667430400000001 but when I go into AI and do a transaction search for the same time period, I see one trace entry only.
I'm now thinking that it is logging but that AI is failing to show it.

2024-06-03T20:10:28.61+00:00 I did increase the daily cap but it doesn't appear to have made any difference to what I see when I do a transaction search in App Insights. I am unable to raise a ticket as I don't have a support contract.

2024-06-07T15:38:54.12+00:00 I have tried raising a ticket but it seems I can only do so if I sign up for a support contract.
