Azure DNS records do seem to work

I create a Azure DNS zone to host the DNS records for a domain registered with IONOS, I updated successfully and more than 48 hours ago the name servers on the registrar but using different DNS checker tools the records still do not show up.

I registered three DNS records:

  1. an A record pointing from autoboost.it to an IP address of a server that hosts a webpage,
  2. a CNAME record and TXT record to configure a custom domain for an Azure Container App

as shown in the attached image.

When running a nslookup on the domain i get *** Can't find autoboost.it: No answer and the online tool dnschecker.org reports no A or CNAME records; both tool report the SOA record correctly.

I followed the instruction on this troubleshooting guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/dns/dns-troubleshoot but none were helpful.

    @Riccardo Barbieri ,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well

    Per Marcin Policht's comment,

    • Are you sure you added the Name servers to your domain registrar?
    • Is the A record created for "www" or some other name?

    Cheers,

    Kapil
