Why are deleted items in Outlook not visible in the deleted item folder, but are in the recovery item map?

When i deleted an e-mail in Outlook, the e-mail is not going to the deleted map but the recovery map.
When i recover the e-mail, than it is being restored in the deleted items map.
Is this an change from Microsoft?
I want my deleted e-mails in mine deleted items map.
Can you please help?

Does this issue occur in Outlook desktop client? If so, how did you delete the emails?
In order to further confirm the issue, it's suggested that you could log in to web mail and check if the issue persists.
