don't have access to chat, meeting notes and recap

Question

Someone forward me a meeting, but I cannot access chat, recap and notes.

I can join the meeting afterwards, but I cannot send message.

According to our official documentation, there are some limitations to accessing meeting recordings in Microsoft Teams.

1. External attendees will not be able to access or edit meeting notes.
2. People who are not directly invited to the meeting may have limited access to meeting notes. If this is your situation, we have not found a way to give users access to meeting recordings. Please make sure you invite all participants before creating meeting minutes.

Meeting review is available after a scheduled meeting that has been recorded and transcribed. Please check whether recording of the meeting is enabled.  In addition, meeting review currently does not support instant meetings or Teams calls.

Once the meeting summary is ready, the user will receive a message from the Copilot for Sales bot in their personal chat. The message includes meeting details such as the title, date, time, and attendees, and a link to the summary. The user can use the link in the message to view the summary or go to the Copilot for Sales tab in the meeting.

If the user is still unable to access the meeting summary, it is possible that the summary has not been generated yet. In this case, the user should wait for the summary to be generated and try again later.
