I'm planning to sign up a new Azure portal account, but I only have a Gmail account. Is there anyway to sign in Azure portal by Gmail account? Or I have to create a Microsoft account?

Hi , Welcome to MS Q&A

Azure portal sign-in requires a Microsoft account. However, yes you can use your Gmail account to create a Microsoft account. Here's how:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account sign-up page: Visit https://signup.live.com/ in your web browser.
    2. Enter your Gmail address: In the "Email" field, enter your Gmail address.
    3. Create a password: Choose a password for your Microsoft account.
    4. Complete the security verification: Follow the prompts to complete any security verification steps required by Microsoft.
    5. Provide additional information: You may need to provide some additional information, such as your name, date of birth, and country.
    6. Verify your email address: Microsoft will send a verification email to your Gmail address. Open the email and click on the verification link to verify your email address.
    7. Sign in to Azure Portal: Once your Microsoft account is created and verified, you can use your Gmail address and the password you set to sign in to the Azure portal.

Kindly accept answer if it helps, Thanks
