    Hello

The error message “you do not have permissions to see the list of shares for Windows clients” typically appears when you don’t have the necessary permissions to view the shared folders. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Check your permissions: Right-click the file or folder, and then click Properties. Click the Security tab. Under Group or user names, click your name to see the permissions that you have. If necessary, click Edit, click your name, select the check boxes for the permissions that you must have, and then click OK.

Modify sharing settings: Right-click on the folder or drive that you wish to access and click on “Properties.” Under the “Security” tab, click the “Edit” button. Select “Everyone” in the “Group or user names” list. Check the “Allow” option next to “Full control” in the “Permissions for Everyone” list.

Advanced Sharing: Select Properties, and then select Advanced Sharing on the Sharing tab. Select Permissions, check Allow for Full Control of Everyone, and then press Enter. Select OK on the Advanced Sharing dialog box.
