Hi,

I'm sending Fortinet logs to an AWS Linux server and trying to push AMA agent via Azure Arc to integrate it with MS Sentinel but the agent only shows in "creating" status and never gets installed.

Please suggest. Thank you!

    Hi Nikesh Doshi,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To use AMA on non-Azure servers like an Amazon Linux server, you need to first install the Azure Arc agent on that server. The Azure Arc agent establishes a connection between the server and Azure, allowing you to manage and monitor it through Azure services like Azure Monitor and Microsoft Sentinel

AMA supports Amazon Linux 2 and Amazon Linux 2022. However, there are known issues with installing AMA on older versions of Amazon Linux, such as Amazon Linux 2017.09
