I have an inactive work account/email in Authenticator that I'm not able to remove. It displays gray. How can I remove this inactive account? I Initially setup Authenticator for this work account, but subsequently added multiple personal accounts. I'm still using Authenticator for my personal accounts. I have Authenticator version 6.2404.2872 installed on my Android version 12 Galaxy phone.

Found solution that worked in Feb 19 2024 12:12am post by Sheila Semavor, and correctly answered by Deepak Dhiman on Apr 28 2024 2:36am. Deepak's full answer is there, but in brief, the inactive account needs to be deleted from Manage Accounts which is found within Android settings. Once deleted from there, it disappears from the Authenticator app.
