My azure for students subscription was disabled due to:
To protect the security and privacy of your account, we perform routine audits of all Azure subscriptions. During one of these audits, we identified suspicious activity in your subscription that violates the Microsoft Acceptable use Policy. We’ve disabled your subscription until the issue can be resolved.

I was using it to run an express backend and react frontend app for college assignment. They also didn't tell me what the problem was or if I or them was supposed to solve it.

Since I'm on a deadline it is quite urgent to get it resolved.

Then I wanted to write a support ticket at portal.azure.com but it says that I need an active subscription to write a support ticket but since mine is disabled it doesn't count I guess. It told me to go to https://aka.ms/AzureSubHelp but this just redirects me back to azure so I'm stuck in an infinite loop and I'm unsure how to proceed.
Answers appreciated , thanks

    Hello Asos75 ,

Thanks for reaching out in the Microsoft Q&A!

To address this, first review the Microsoft Acceptable Use Policy to identify any potential violations related to your college assignment usage. Then, consider alternative channels to contact Azure support, such as phone, as you can't create a support ticket through the Azure portal with a disabled subscription. When contacting support, clearly explain your situation, emphasizing your usage for a legitimate college assignment and the urgency of resolving the issue due to an approaching deadline.

If you find this helpful, please accept this answer to close the thread. Thanks!

Hello @Asos75 Thank you for contacting us through Microsoft Q&A platform and I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you!

Based on the information shared by you, I understand that your Azure subscription is disabled, and you are unable to reactivate the subscription. It sounds like there was at least one violation of the terms of service. To resolve this issue, you must create a support request and work with the security team.

What should I do if my account is disabled? What should you do if you find that your account has been disabled for a violation of the Terms of Service?

    1. Check your email - For many violations of Terms of Service, you should receive an email sent to the address associated with your Azure subscription that provides additional information so that you can correct the violation. Check your email to see what action needs to be taken.
    2. Review the Terms of Service - Make sure that you review the Terms of Service so that you are aware of anything that may constitute a violation and take corrective action: Microsoft Azure Legal Information / Microsoft Azure Offer Details / Azure Terms of Service (you'll need to scroll down a bit)
    3. Create a support request - Violations are reviewed by our security team but if you feel that your case needs to be revisited, create a support ticket. You can do this either online or through the portal by searching for Help + support and clicking on Create a support request (Issue type: Subscription management / Problem type: Re-enable my subscription).

Here is the link - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request to create support case.

FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/plans/

If you are unable to create a support request, I suggest you try the following options:

Twitter : Connect with @AzureSupport on Twitter for answers, support, and to connect with Azure experts. best place to raise a request

Few Customers are using the Microsoft REST api Support Tickets - REST API (Azure Support) | Microsoft Learn to create Support request.

    OR

You can call global customer service - https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 to raise a support request on your behalf to help you connect with Azure billing and subscription management support.

    Hope this helps!
