Seagate drive not working

So recently I tried installing a game and when I went to download it my computer went weird. I thought restarting would fix it but then when I would go and boot it up it would have a underscore in the top right. I finally got it to boot up correctly but I noticed the problem was my drive. It would cause the problem and my drive won't show up anymore. I have mods and a lot of games saved on it and I wanted to know why it won't work and what I would do to fix it. It also says that it did not migrate. Responding would be helpful and thanks!

    Hi Brian James,

    Thanks for your post.

Please open Disk Management by running diskmgmt.msc as administrator from the Start menu and see if your drive can still be found there. If yes, make sure all the volumes on the drive are healthy and drive letters are assigned to them.

If the disk is no longer listed in Disk Management or Device Manager, ensure that the drive is properly connected to your computer. If the drive is connected to your motherboard via a cable, make sure that the cable is securely attached to both the drive and the port on the motherboard. You can connect the drive to another port on the motherboard or another computer to see if it can be recognized. If not, it could be the drive issue and you have to contact Seagate.

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue
