Hello,
If your company has deployed Remote Desktop Services, it's important to check if there is an RD Gateway set up in your company's remote desktop environment. If an RD Gateway is in place, you should provide the gateway's IP address in your Remote Desktop client settings.
However, if you are attempting to remotely access a client system from a different network, alternative arrangements are typically required. In such cases, establishing a connection often entails either using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to securely tunnel into the company's network or setting up port forwarding on your router to direct traffic to the target client system.
When you connect to your PC by using a Remote Desktop client, you're creating a peer-to-peer connection. This means you need direct access to the PC (sometimes called "the host").
If you need to connect to your PC from outside of the network your PC is running on, you need to enable that access. You have a couple of options: use port forwarding or set up a VPN.
