To revert the Outlook profile picture to the default initials, one must remove the existing photo. The procedure is as follows:

    For Office 365 Users:

    • Access the Office 365 Admin Center.
      • Proceed to Users > Active Users.
        • Choose the user and select the Profile tab.
          • In the Picture section, opt for Remove Picture.
          For Outlook.com Users:
          - Log in to **Outlook.com**.

             - Click on the current **profile picture** at the top of the page.

                - Choose **Edit profile**.

                   - Select **Change picture**, then **Remove picture**.

For Office 365 users without admin rights, assistance from an administrator may be required to remove the photo using PowerShell with the Remove-UserPhoto command.

To change the profile picture on a laptop running Windows, navigate to Settings > Accounts > Your Info and select the option to revert to the default image that displays the user’s initials.

Please note, after the removal of the photo, there may be a delay before the change is visible across all Microsoft services. If further assistance is required, consulting the relevant Microsoft documentation or contacting support is advisable.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What's your account? An Outlook.com account or Microsoft account?

If you are using a Microsoft account, please log in to Microsoft account and click Change photo>Remove photo. The default photo with your initials will come back.

    User's image

    Hope to help you!
