Is API Connections service affected on this update?

AS per information "All API versions prior to 2021-08-01 will be retired starting 1 June 2024. These API versions will be disabled gradually and without further notice. The previously communicated date was 30 September 2023. You'll no longer be able to create or manage your API Management services using templates, tools, scripts, or programs that rely on a disabled API version. "

Please help on this update.

Hi @a.f.lapiguera Greetings! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. Thank you for posting this question here.

Is API Connections service affected on this update?

While your service isn't affected by this change, any tool, script, or program that uses the Azure Resource Manager (such as the Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, Azure API Management DevOps Resource Kit, or Terraform) to interact with the API Management service and calls an API Management API version prior to 2021-08-01 is affected by this change. After an API version is retired, you'll be unable to run any affected tools successfully unless you update the tools.

Please refer to the Required Action section of the article API version retirements (June 2024) which explains more on how to update different tools to address this coming changes.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
