Hi,

I am using Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Servers, I cannot create database in pgAdmin due to missing privileges for pg_default tablespace.

I cannot find that in documentation, could you confirm that creating databases are possible only in Azure Portal / CLI / PS but not via SQL script?

    Refer below

    Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/postgresql/flexible-server/concepts-security

There is no restriction on connecting to Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server using tools like psql or pgAdmin. These tools can be used to connect to the server and manage existing databases, run queries, and perform various database operations.

    Refer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/postgresql/flexible-server/how-to-connect-query-guide

    Hope this helps
