How to avoid duplicate Reminders in Outlook App / iOS

When starting the Microsoft Outlook App on Windows, a dialog box appears listing Reminders for Meetings that have already occurred. Notifications for the Meetings appeared on iOS and were cleared on that platform. Clearing the Notifications on iOS seems to have no relationship with Dismissing the Reminder on the Outlook App.

Is there a mechanism to Dismiss Outlook Reminders on iOS such that their Dismissed state synchronizes with the Outlook App?

Outlook App provides customization to automatically Dismiss Reminders for Meetings that have occurred in the past. This is not a desirable workaround as it does not explicitly account for user state changes in the record's Dismissed status. I am looking to manage the Dismiss state deliberately across platforms.

Test Software Environment: Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Apps for Business, Outlook App Version 2404 (Build 16.0.17531.20152 Click-to-Run) 64-bit, iOS 17.5.1, Outlook App for iOS 4.2419.0.

Presumed Data Environment: The Microsoft 365 service hosts the Calendar, Meetings, and Reminder records. iOS Apps generate notifications based on Reminder records from the 365 service, and the Outlook App for Windows generates notifications based on Reminder records from the 365 service.

Desired User Experience: A Reminder Dismissal action performed on any client is recorded on Microsoft 365 and synchronized across all clients.
