Where is Intune Cloud Storage in Azure

Hi there,

We need to add some applications into Intune to deliver to Windows 10 clients, but I wanted to ask if the cloud storage space, mentioned in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-add, is accessible by a storage explorer or if we have the option to choose where we put the apps.

I was under the impression that a separate storage account against a subscription is needed in order to store apps for Intune. Finding out that it has its own cloud storage space, i'm still unsure what subscription that relates to, or how to manage/access it.

Thanks,
Ollie

You can't choose where to upload it. You just upload it to Intune based on your Intune license (not Azure subscription). Oliver Kieselbach has a good blog post that might explain it better about trying to access it once Win32 apps are encrypted and uploaded https://oliverkieselbach.com/2019/01/03/how-to-decode-intune-win32-app-packages/

@OllieSaleh Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, I know you want to know if the cloud storage space for Intune is accessible. If there’s any misunderstanding, feel free to let us know.

I have done a lot of research, in our official articles, we can find that when we have a full subscription of Intune, the storage space is not limited. And also we don’t need any separate storage account to add applications in Intune. The Intune device subscription is licensed per device . Here is a link describe the Microsoft Intune licensing for the reference.

For the storage space access, currently, it is unable to access via storage explorer. During my research, I find other customer who has the same requested posted in Intune uservoice as below. We can vote and post our detailed request here. This is a place to collect customers' requirements and problems.

Thanks for the understanding and have a nice day.
