Is there a way to alert if Azure Network Watcher is not running?

So I've been experimenting with Azure Network watcher, Connection Monitor preview. We're trying to determine if it's suitable.

One of my tests, was to see what happens if a machine stops working but is still around, kind of.

To do that I simulated it, by having the machine working for a while, then removing the network monitor extension.

After I did that I noticed that the dashboard didn't change at all

I can see some missing dots on the other vm testing view, but is there any way to set up alert that there's missing data here:

In this case, the machine is still around, but effectively network watch stopped reporting somehow. I'd like to be alerted to this situation. is that possible ?

Thank you for your patience while I was waiting for our internal team. Here is something you can do to get alerted for this scenario-

"If the count aggregation of the data in metric is 0 then it is not reporting the data." - Therefore, you can set an alert when the count aggregation of the data metric is 0. Hope this helps. If you have any further questions/concerns, please let us know and we can assist you further. Thank you!
