I encounter an error when installing SSRS for SQL Server 2019 to use the reporting in SCCM. The error message states that I need to enter a valid 25-character key, even though I've already entered the product key. How can I bypass this error and continue with the installation process?

Are you sure the product key is correct for your installation of SQL Server 2019? Here are Microsoft's instructions for finding your SQL 2019 product key, which is the same one you use for SSRS:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/install-windows/find-reporting-services-product-key-ssrs?view=sql-server-ver15

    Hi, @woo hada

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

To bypass the error message when installing SSRS for SQL Server 2019, you can try the following steps:

    1. Make sure you are entering the correct product key for SQL Server 2019.
    2. If you are sure that you have entered the correct product key, try running the setup as an administrator.
    3. Make sure you are installing SQL Server 2019 Reporting Services instead of other version of Reporting Services.
