Hello,

I am looking for assistance to configure MS Print to PDF as the default saving option for new documents with the following settings:

  1. No pop-up for printer or folder selection (Silent Printing option)
  2. Auto file naming convention
  3. Ability to redirect PDF documents to a specific folder

Any guidance on how to configure these settings would be appreciated.

Thank you,

    Hello,

Some of the requirements you've mentioned may not be natively supported by the "Microsoft Print to PDF" feature. Here's how you can set up the basics:

    1. Set Microsoft Print to PDF as Default Printer:

-Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.

-Click on "Microsoft Print to PDF" to highlight it.

-Click on "Manage," then "Set as default."

2.By default, Microsoft Print to PDF will ask for a file name and save location each time. This is by design, and from Microsoft's perspective, this feature does not support this requirement.

3.By default, you cannot see the output path setting in the Microsoft Print To PDF preferences,so you cannot customize it.Microsoft print to pdf works in printer mode, and the file name parameter is not provided.
