Can you use hostnames in Azure API Management Gateway back-end if the hostname resolves to IPv6 address. (Basic tier)

Hello!

We are thinking about changing our back-end address to from IPv4 to IPv6. Is Azure API Management Gateway able to forward request to the back-end if its hostname resolves to IPv6?
