Hi,
Service: OpenAI service, using chat completions.
Region: Sweden Central
Scenario: When making a request it consistently tells me a 503 Service Unavailable error. This started happening since an hour. Only occasionally it does come through normally.
This is happening consistently for our Azure OpenAI service. I don't see anything wrong in Cost analysis or any errors messages internally. Service Health is good according to (https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Health/AzureHealthBrowseBlade/~/resourceHealth).Is it a temporary issue?

Thanks for reaching out to us, Error 503 sometimes means that you have run out of your quota, could you please quick check on your quota side? If everything looks fine, could you please share the version and model to us?

Where do I check the quota side for this? On the search service, Azure OpenAI service, or another? And inside those services how do i see if a quota has been reached?

I got same issue here. It works sometime but very slow and will just return 503 occasionally. This just happens in swedencentral. I tried other region it seems working fine.
If Jason has the same this needs to be reported higher up.

Hello together
Since 2 days I am also experiencing the same errors. I have the same errors about the cognitive resources in both Regions - Sweden Central and Switzerland North.
In Azure, I can see in the “Resource integrity” menu item that there is a problem and that Microsoft is working on recovery.
